I would just like to take the time to apologize for all the problems and down time we have had with the forums so far.

Firstly I will try to explain in basic terms what went wrong, basically the domain name .forumotion.com is run from a server, that server is I believe located in the Uk, however sometime on Sunday the server inexplicably went down.

This caused all .forumotion.com forums to go down and appear as a white page, unfortunately the company who own forumotion do not have technicians working on a Sunday to solve the problem.

Fortunately the reason it began to work again on Sunday was the fact that the server automatically reboots every so often, and somehow this fixed the problem.

Earlier today the technicians arrived and worked through the server locating the problem, hence the downtime today, in the end they realised the problem was that an updat had been started on Saturday but didn't finish till Sunday, and the update needed the server to restart in order to work.

However on Sunday there was nobody there to restart the server, therefore I would like to apologize for the delay, in future the company intends to hire technicians for Sunday service to help reduce the risk of this happening again.
